Journée fouilles ouvertes
INVITATION
En raison de travaux importants affectant la partie arrière du bâtiment principal du domaine du Montcel, à Jouy en Josas (France), une partie non encore inventée du « Déjeuner sous l’herbe » fera l’objet d’une seconde opération archéologique entre le 19 septembre et le 3 octobre 2016.
Aux abords du chantier, en présence de participants du banquet originel qui a rassemblé le 23 avril 1983 plus de 100 personnalité du monde de l’art autour d’un menu à base de tripes, nous évoquerons le mardi 27 septembre 2016 entre 11h et 16h les enjeux de cette action, ainsi que les premiers résultats des enquêtes archéologiques et ethnographiques.

Open Excavation Day
INVITATION
Due to important landscaping projects at the back of the main building of the domaine du Montcel in Jouy-en-Josas (France), an important part of the « Déjeuner sous l’herbe » not yet discovered will be the subject of a second archeological excavation ; between the 19th of septembre and the 3rd of octobre 2016.
Nearby the excavation site, in attendance of participants of the original banquet that gathered more than 100 artistic figures from that period, around a menu of guts and tripe, we will adress the 27th of septembre 2016 between 11 AM and 4 PM the most striking aspects of this action, and present the first results of the archeological and ethnographic research.
